Recently Yuliya Velhan, a valedictorian for the Class of 2021, was interviewed by the CMU Center for Charter Schools where she shared her personally journey from arriving at our school unable to speak English, and over the course of several years transforming into a top student who is now destined to attend Brown University on a full scholarship.
