Last week Channel 7 News (WXYZ) Detroit came out to our school to talk with some of our new students from the Ukraine. As many in our school community already know, we actively opened the doors of our school to the those coming into the area to escape the ongoing war in Ukraine. Given the difficulty that every one of these young people has had to face in the recent weeks, it has been amazing to see their collective resilience. While Channel 7 news talked with the students, they were given the chance to share some of their personal stories of what they have been dealing with in recent weeks.
